"If you arEE worriEED about your lusus, I could always go calm minEE," you offer. You know you'd feel quite awful if you found out Eeldad killed your companion's guardian. "HEE normally comEEs around whEEn hEE sEEnsEEs mEE in thEE watEEr," you inform Pasler, slowly following. The creature is a little hard to keep tame, and when he gets territorial, he could be quite a bother. You cast a look back at the water, your eyes narrowing at the waves. You suppose his personality can be a good thing. He's kept you alive this long.
You pick up your pace to walk at Pasler's side, and admittedly, flushing a light shade of violet, you say, "I havEE nEEvEEr imbibEEd any sort of bEEveragEE likEE thEE onEE you spEEak of." And why would you? It would just disorient you, leaving you vulnerable and weak. But perhaps maybe you can try. At least one. Maybe.

Palser only shakes his head. He could trust Mantadad to find someplace safe from danger. Making a dismissive gesture. Even if the lusus was one of the more placid and passive of Alternia's beast Mantadad was cunning and quick. "It's fine, really."
Looking over at Reeius as he caught up, the light blush in his cheeks wasn't easily overlooked. Palser tucked some still damp hair behind his ear fin. "Heh, it's no~ot so~o bad. Just o~one wo~ont hurt. If yo~ou do~on't like the taste then yo~ou do~on't have to~o finish it." Doing his best to calm any doubts in his fellow sea troll. Perhaps then they will run into a few familiar faces. Not to mention he was interested in seeing how his new friend would react to the alcohol.
It wasn't long before they were crossing the park and nearing the edge of the city limits.

The earth beneath your feet transforms into cool cobblestone, and your gills flare with mild excitement. You're not entirely sure why you've never gone to the city before. You never felt the urge? You'd like to meet other trolls, you guess, but at the same time, I don't really like crowds? You have no idea, you're being kind of weird right now and your thoughts are a little muddled. You could already hear and sense other trolls milling about, and you admit that it's making you feel all tense again, if not a little nervous.
"I would not likEE to wastEE thEE drink if I do not EEnjoy it. I could pay for mysEElf." You doubt Pasler would allow this, yet you offer anyway. You're both royalty, so it doesn't really matter who pays or not, but still.
You busy your hands to relax yourself and you squeeze more water out of your hoodie.

"Huh, sounds kinda boring if you ask m3!"
"Zeraki, please. Where are yo~our manners? Sho~ow a little mo~ore respect." Palser hissed, and his tone was enough to break that smile on the blue blood's face. Even going as far as making him grow silent for a moment. But of course it didn't last long.
"If you 3v3r g3t bor3d of digging around in cold, w3t cav3s my hiv3 is built right outsid3 of som3 old mining tunn3ls. I g3t som3 of my suppli3s from th3r3 onc3 in awhil3. But it's ov3r run with rabid shri3kb3asts." Zeraki is just continuing on anyway. Hands still laced behind his head and ever now and then looking at Reeius's horns in a not so subtle manner.
"Perhaps that wo~ouldn't be such a great idea then. To~o~o risky." Palser was shaking his head the whole time. He knew his moirail couldn't be trusted alone with another living troll. Not by his hive especially. Hopefully Reeius would turn him down. At least then were nearing the beach now. The grass and stone giving way to a more grainy undertow. The smell of the ocean growing stronger and even the sounds of the waves could be hear.

"I'vEE EEncountEErEEd far worsEE crEEaturEEs. ShriEEkbEEasts arEE hardly anything in comparison," you hum, thinking over Zeraki's suggestion. "PEErhaps I'll takEE you up on your offEEr." You can't resist a chance for a good expedition. "But somEE othEEr timEE. I'vEE alrEEady got my hands full with othEEr cavEEs." Not only that, but you have future plans with Pasler, who, if you guess right, seems a bit irritated. You're not sure why. You shoot him a questioning look.
The paved stone beneath your bare feet transforms into a more grainy texture, and happily, you dig your toes into the sand, stepping closer to the ocean. You pause about half way to the water, mulling it over. Well, Eeldad is aggressive, yeah, but you're sure you can keep him tame. Plus, you three are already there, so...might as well get it over with, right?

It seems like Zeraki was more then content with the response. All beaming smiles and happy humming to himself. He was patient and could wait all sweep for a chance to get at those horns, alone. In private. Yesss.
Palser locked eyes with Reeius for a split second, masking that worried look quickly and once more rolled his shoulders in a passive gesture. If his new friend really did plan on hanging out with Zeraki more he would have to be there. Supervising. That seemed like too much work and it was a big enough hassle keeping the blue blood's other hobby under wraps. Aside from envy there was a hint of worry.
At least when they hit the beach it was time for Zeraki to lag behind them. Taking his sweet time entering the beach with his eye focused on the water. He just didn't like not knowing what was swimming beneath the dark waves.
Looking more at ease Palser made it up to the edge of the water, dipping his feet in first as he waited for Reeius to summon his lusus. Not really sure what to expect but he was putting enough faith in his new friend to handle the situation in a... less then aggressive way. Looking on with curiosity.

Slowly, you wade into the water, stopping when you're in until your waist, and you are well aware that the others are watching. You don't spot your lusus anywhere in the area, and that's really not a surprise. He avoids lands just as much as lowbloods avoid water. You let out a dreary sigh, scowling. You know you're going to have to submerge. You're highly displeased that your sweater is going to get soaked again after it more or less just finished drying off. You contemplate the appropriateness of removing your hoodie. You suppose you could... You can just pull it on right when you get back. So, without another thought, you pull the clothing up and off, storing it in your modus. Your rib gills flare, happy to be free, and with a short look over your shoulder, you call, "BEE back shortly," before diving under the waves.
You don't go too far. Only far enough as to where you know your lusus will be comfortable meeting with you. You swim a little deeper downward and decide to wait. You don't even have to search, really. He simply shows up.
You are unaware of how long you're down there. Lazily floating on your back, you stare through the dark water, only barely able to see the twinkling stars in the sky above. You actually start to nod off until you feel a nudge on your back, pushing you up and shoving you into awareness immediately. You fumble, alarmed and equipping your pickaxe, turning to face whatever disturbed you when you see...it's your lusus. Bubbles escape your mouth in a groan and you return your weapon to your strife deck.
You place your now empty hand on Eeldad's smooth, blank face. He has no ocular orbs, and no cartilage nub. You don't even know if he can hear you when you speak. You're not sure how he gets around, but you figure he's so agressive because he's lacking his senses. His white body ripples under your palm and you suddenly doubt yourself again. You have nothing on his size; you're barely as tall has is skinny forearm. How can you really keep him in check if he decides to attack your companions?
Eeldad lets out a soft, muffled noise, and you figure you better get on with it, despite your worries. You keep your hand on him so he knows to follow you, and warily, you move to return to the beach. His body breaches the surface before your's and, displeased, he lets out a loud wail, which continues until you're above the water, smacking his arm to gather his attention. His neck flings about until promptly dipping to shove you over, sending you back into the water.
Well.
He's in a good mood tonight. This should be easier than you thought.

Farlow is seen walking along the beach, listening to the ocean. So peaceful. So calm. It is a change of pace from the AG racing you have been doing lately.

Of course the blue blood jabbed his friend and motioned to Reeius when he pulled off his jacket and swam into the open water. Palser shooshed him and did his best to keep his gaze averted.
Needless to say Zeraki was the first to crack as he waited. Though patient he didn't like staring out into the endless ocean for he occupied himself by building a sand castle for all the little crab beasts that littered the beach. Having someone fashioned himself a crown out of the shells Palser had begun collecting. declaring himself the overloard of all shelled crustaceans.
Palser, on the other hand, stood near the lapping waves and eyes glued to the ocean as he waited for Reeius to return with his lusus. For a long moment he wondered if they had been ditched. Starting up a collection of sea shells in a small pile. Glaring at Zeraki each time he rummaged through them and left it a mess before going back to his own project. When that loud wailing began the two of them stood up quickly and watched as the massive eel like lusus began to come ashore.
"Whoa, h3's a big on3!" Of course Zeraki was more more interested in the sounds the creature was making over anything else. Wondering if he would be able to mimic the sound... and trying right now might possibly be a bad idea.
"Uh, Reeius, are yo~ou o~ok?" Palser was cautious around the large white beast though concerned after seeing the other sea troll being shoved into the water. Not wanting to risk being attacked he kept his distance.

Hurriedly, you clamber back onto your feet, glaring at your lusus. His heavy breath fans across your body, nearly knocking you down again. He's probably laughing at you, getting a real kick out of messing with his "wriggler". Placing your hands on his smooth head, you shove him away until he lifts is neck high, letting out a softer, but still loud, keen. The sound makes the water ripple and, affectionately, you pat his arm in an attempt to comfort him. You know he's going to slink back into the ocean in a few moments.
You pull your hoodie out of your sylladex and tug it back on before moving closer to the shore. Some seaweed managed to get tangled in your horns when you were pushed down, and, disgruntled, you pull at it, attempting to get it off. The slimy plant is tangled in the knots of your horns, but you eventually tear it off and through it back into the water.
"My apologiEEs. I didn't EExpEEct him to takEE so long gEEtting to mEE," you pause before Pasler, your gaze locking with his briefly. You look at Zeraki, continuing, "HEE will dEEpart soon. Study him quickly."
Eeldad stands frozen, not a muscle in his white body moving. Sometimes it strange how still he could be. You'd think he was a statue if you didn't know him. You watch the beast warily. Even now, you know he's pretty unpredictable. You're not sure if he'll lunge at your companions or slip away without conflict.
Still, as long as they remain on shore, they'll be safe.
Probably.

Both of the trolls are apprehensive at first. Getting a good eyeful of the massive lusus though Palser is quickly more concerned with watching a longer gaze at Reeius before he's slipped on his jacket. Berating himself from staring and quickly trying to focus on something else. Well that was until he spotted his fellow sea dweller trying to untangle sea weed from his horn. Hiding his grin as quickly as possible.
"O~o~oh, it's alright. We we're able to~o o~ocuppy o~ourselves." His expression softens when he locks eyes with Reeius. Shrugging his shoulders. Just glad that his new friend actually came back.
Zeraki, proving to be brave or incredibly stupid, chooses to step closer to eeldad. Taking him all in. Bemused by the sounds its able to create. Taking Reeius's advice and pacing around the still beast in a slow half circle. It seems like a relatively easy task. There's not to many extensive details. Noting how the moon light reflected off of its pasty skin. Tucking his hands in his pockets and nodding to himself. He's sure he's gotten all he needed though... tries to mimic the soft keening sound eeldad has made with mixed results.

You can't help the short laugh that slips out of your wordhole at Zeraki's imitation. "You'rEE going to nEEEEd morEE practicEE," you comment, watching intently as your lusus suddenly dips his head back down, facing you. The only noticeable feature he has are his teeth; he has the same underbite as you, complete with the two, jutting, annoying fangs. Eeldad's head swivels to face the blue blood and his mouth opens as he lets out another keen, as if replying to Zeraki's. He turns away then, moving awkwardly on his legs to slink back under the water. You watch until his form disappears under the waves. "Normally, HEE is not so...passivEE," you comment, humming thoughtfully. Perhaps it's because he sensed you felt safe and relaxed. Or maybe he likes these trolls. Absently, you run your webbed fingers over your horns, checking for any stray seaweed.

"H333y! I just n333d a littl3 mor3 tim3 to study the sound! It was a nic3 try, right? Right?" Zeraki glances between both trolls with hopeful eyes. He honestly felt like that was a good try! Even eeldad seemed to agree when he answered him. That alone make him feel giddy.
"I think it was expectio~onal. Like always." Palser walked up beside his friend and ruffled his hair. Zeraki leaned into the touch, Keeping his self-esteem in tack for the time being. Turning his attention to Reeius with a more relaxed grin. "Thanks fo~or sharing yo~our lusus with us. I am glad he didn't co~onsider us a threat. I fo~or o~one wo~ould say its due to~o his animal magnetism." Referring to his moirail. Taking notice of how Reeius was still picking at his horns.
Both trolls seeming to lock their gaze on his twisting horns but for completely different reasons.
"Yo~ou missed a spo~ot. Right there. Higher." Palser's attempt at helping.
"I can giv3 you a hand~!" Zeraki, no.

Your hands flounder over your horns and you feel a bit embarrassed; publicly groping at your own horns, for whatever reason seems so...taboo. Not only that, but you feel absolutely ridiculous. You can't locate any lingering seaweed. They wouldn't lie to you to make you fumble like a fool, would they? You drop your hands, giving up. If there's something tangled up there, you won't get it of yourself.
Your gaze flickers to Zeraki. His eyes are sparkling as he stares at your horns, obviously wishing for a chance to grab them again. You wouldn't mind his assistance if he know he would let go of you afterwards. You firmly believe that making him release you would be a challenging task. And so...
You turn to Pasler, very aware of the light heat rising to your cheeks. You know you're not flushing hard enough so they'd notice, but still, it's downright embarrassing; no one has ever touched your horns (well, Zeraki has, but does that count?). Tentatively, you request, "AssistancEE?" You've only known him for a few hours, and already you bare your horns to him. You strongly hope that Zeraki doesn't take the opportunity to lunge at you again.

Palser is doing his best not to laugh while Zeraki seems all for a good chuckle at Reeius's personal misery. Effectively the higher blood elbow's his friend's ribs to get him to stop.
"If yo~ou're sure..." He looks back at Zeraki then Reeius then one last time at the blue blood. Shooting him a look as if to say, 'don't fuck this up.' Taking a step closer and doing his best not to push his luck any more then what is being presented to him he cautiously plucked the tangled knot of greenish blue sea weed from the curved loop in the other sea dweller's horns. "Ah, that's it."
Off to the side its easy to see that dramatic eyebrow waggle Zeraki was throwing out to the both of them. Damn him. But had he been given the chance to get at those sea troll horns, with all that wonderful height and curves, he wouldn't have let them go. His fingers looking ready for action as he made awkward groping motions at the two of them. Zeraki, no. Stop.
Once he pulled his hands back and shook off his own awkward flush he promptly shoved the blue blood over into the sand.

"Thank you, I apprEEciatEE it," you say calmly, blatantly ignoring their laughter. Internally, however, you're feeling pretty flustered. That was certainly a better experience than when Zeraki grabbed your horns, and, oddly enough, you feel...you're not even sure. You shake your head, as if shaking your thoughts.
You watch, amused, when Pasler shoves his moirail down. It seems your fellow sea dweller isn't one who enjoys teasing. You decide to keep that bit of information in mind.
With everything else going on, you almost forget the reason you came back to the beach. It certainly wasn't a field trip to hoofbeast around in the sand."HavEE you sEEEEn my lusus wEEll EEnough? Or should I bring him back?" You question Zeraki, though your gaze is on the ocean, and you listen to the waves sing. It'll take more urging to get Eeldac back onto land a second time, you think.

All the joking aside Zeraki looked up from his sprawled position on the beach. He didn't seem to be in any hurry to stand up. Considering the options he finally sat up and brushed his hands together, failing to rid himself of sang palms. "Ah, I think I got what I n333d but I'd lik3 to h3ar him again som3tim3!"
"And by that he means he will hassle yo~ou every chance he gets to~o see yo~our lusus so~o he can co~ontinue to~o perfect his screeching." Palser laid it out to the point. And Zeraki didn't argue, instead he seemed to be beaming at his best friend.
"Awww you know m3 too w3ll! But y3ah w333 can h3ad back to th3 shop now! You can both watch m3 work!" Pushing himself to his feet in one smooth motion. Marching back over to his sand metropolis first where he then proceeded to offer his crown of leadership to one of the many spiral shelled crabs littering the castle he built. Lord, Sir Snipperton, high archmage of Sandscape. Of course he was saying every bit of this outloud.
"He's such a wriggler so~ometimes." Palser sighed though there was plenty of fond affection there. It was perhaps that reason why he pitied him. Pale for that kind hearted murderer. He'd sometimes question if Zeraki was even aware of the terrible things he did. Turning to Reeius now that he was more or less out of molestion range of the blue blood. "I ho~ope... yo~ou're enjo~oying yo~ourself."

"PEErhaps you can mEEEEt him again. WEE will sEEEE," you promise, dipping your head slightly, a gesture similar to your lusus. You watch Zeraki rise and speak with the crustaceans on the beach and, absently, you comment, "It can bEE an EEndEEaring quality." You say it gently, referring to Pasler's wriggler comment loud enough so only the sea dweller can hear. You wonder how your own moirail is doing. You haven't spoken with her for quite sometime. She's probably off being difficult somewhere.
"I am having a wondEErful timEE & I thank you for it," your gaze flickers to the troll at your side, and more to yourself than to him, you mutter, "I should rEEally gEEt out of thEE cavEEs morEE oftEEn." Nixxie used to preach to you about that, but you never really listened. You should have.

"Heh, right, endearing. I guess that's o~one way to~o put it." Palser continued to watch as Zeraki seemed to be wrapping up... what ever it was he was trying to do. Looking over at Reeius with a sincere smile. "I am glad. And perhaps what yo~ou need is a little co~ompany during yo~our expeditions." Catching that last bit of what his fellow sea dweller mumbled and just giving his thoughts. Head back toward the city, getting Zeraki's attention and giving him a hand to stand. Both waiting up on Reeius to follow. This time around Zeraki wouldn't try to wedge his way between the two sea dwellers.
