fingers crosed it does good, but I was arround we we saw the fall of the all mighty and infamous trollslum cafe in the forums. everyone went nuts, but they went through with it. when the mods make up their mind, its hard to change it
and yeah, we are working on ways on making it more public, lol

I've ran Among Gods For almost three years straight now, and i feel pretty certain that's the longest anyone's done on MSPAF, I can say for certain I know what i'm doing haha.
But Half the Effort is from the players of course.
Okay im going to bed now im getting delirious by the minute.

Man i really really wanna talk shit about the admins at MSPAF and call them out their bullshit there but i don't wanna get infracted or banned because "THEY SPEAK THE TRUTH URGH BAN THEIR NONSENSE WE ARE TYRANTS HERE"
Like seriously I feel their reasoning for doing all this stupid crap that they are doing is insanely weak and could be VERY easily avoided and worked around.

Im going to be nice here and say.... go for it. most of the mods here have had their assholery done to us first hand. we're pretty chill. the things we don't tolerate if its directly towards other members. but eh this can be a special occasion

Basically, they decided that the mods weren't able to properly look after the RP forums, and so instead of, oh, I dunno, maybe ATTEMPTING TO GET MORE MODS or CLOSING OLD, UNUSED THREADS or perhaps ENFORCING SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT RULES, they shut it down entirely. The mods were looking for an excuse to do this for a while. I'm not surprised, really. Sorry for ranting, I'm hella pissed about this. I have a question, do you have the same format with spoilers, quotes, etc.? Also, we can bring RPs from over there to here, right? Thank you so much for letting us invade like this.  |

The mods and admins on MSPAF have disliked the whole roleplaying section in general for a long time. This was no secret. They routinely pruned away important threads (like trollslum cafe) because instead of dealing with the problems, they just elected to get rid of them. No skin off their backs. The nail that sealed the coffin was an influx of complaints about sexual harassment over skype. The mods and admins decided that the situation was entirely out of their control (it never was. they could have done SO MUCH to fix the problems) and elected to just destroy the whole roleplaying section as a result. It's like taking aspirin for a headache that is caused by a brain tumor--they are fixing a problem short term without handling the root of the problem itself. Because they don't want to. They've wanted a valid excuse for getting rid of the rp forums for a long time. Don't feel too bad about it. |

I know it certainly doesn't make me feel any better about the whole ordeal. AG is my fuckin baby man and not once in the near 3 years i've hosted it has there been a huge problem like this one. (Aside from the Whole adding the creche thing issue they had awhile back but i didn't really ever pay attention to that.) Why don't you host it here for a bit, and in the meantime make your own forum dedicated specifically to hosting AG and your other projects? That way you have full control over what happens, since you're clearly invested deeply in these projects. |

Heyo! im a person from mspaf too! i was also there for the creche, it was really nice to be there and have a fun time with the roleplays. It was really shameful of them the way that they handled the whole forum dilema, most importantly... the amount of dickishness that the admins made up for AND how they were completely unproffesional and non talkative about the whole deal.
i expect grand old times in thi forum! Cheers and happy roleplaying!.
