Closed SBURB Fansession Discussion.

Okay here it goes. Here's the info dump. So I'm going to divide this into some categories and explain how stuff works that way. This will be updated occasionally and if anyone has any comments feel free to ...well... comment.

Version 1.1



God Tiers: Surprise surprise god tiers actually change how the game works. Well to a certain extent. I know a little information about everyone else's god tiers but I know more about Mazala's as she is my muse. We do have all of the claspect stuff that we need so far to have a succesful session but some of the classpect combos may screw us over.

So Mazala is a Knight of Void. I'ma break this down real quick. A knight is always in a session that has a lack of their aspect. The void aspect mostly has to do with secrecy, misdirection, and nothingness. So this could mean that the Derse agents are going to have a hard time pulling off their assassinations and whatnot, it could mean that the derse dreamers are not as well connected to the furthest ring as Derse dreamers in a regular session would be, it could mean that all of the planets are fairly close together, it could be all of these things. Either way the Derse agents, Jack Noir in particular, are going to have a helluva time getting anything done which means we probably won't have to face him as an endgame boss. Also void players tend to have a connection to the furthest ring meaning there is a chance that Mazala could go grimdark. I kinda want Mazala to go grimdark. In addition the knight always helps the space player breed the genesis frog in some way or another.

Next up we have a page of time. I don't know the troll that is the page of time yet as they are a friend of Mercury's who I haven't met yet. Anyways having a time player is extremely useful and will be pretty much necessary if we want to get out of this alive. The only issue is that they are a page. Pages are extremely powerful and normally use their powers in extremely large bursts near the end of the game. That means no time loop fuckery for us for a long time, that is until the end of the game when our page creates a metric fuckton of doomed timelines and whatnot. We could work with this and do something similar to what Aradia did and use it to spawn a bunch of copies of us. Overall having our time player as a page means we have to do most of the game in one run.

So we do have a witch of life to help us along the way. The witch of life will manipulate life and become a super powerful healer if Ferrea hits her god tier. Now having a witch can be a challenge as they are pretty much destined to screw up the session in some big event. What this is or how it happens is pretty much up to you guys. Anyways the before god tier the witch isn't going to be super usefull to others but will be able to manipulate their life and live the way they want. Atleast that is how I understand it so far. That's pretty much all I have for witch of life so far.

Guess what we have two witches! That's right double the witches means double the catastrophic events that will eventually screw with out session. Don't worry though Starlight's so far unnamed troll is a witch of life meaning that when they hit their god tier they will be able to do some crazy shit. Since this troll is a space player that means they will have to enter the game last as that's how things seem to run in canon. Also I'm not 100% sure if the game screws you over for having two players with the same class but I think it's okay to break canon a little on that one. So the witch of space will need to breed the genesis frog, deal with echidna, stoke the forge, ect. They get alot of the really hard jobs.

Finally we have an heir of breath. So if Brynir hits his god tier we pretty much know what to expect. Wind. Lot's of wind. I really don't have that much info on the heir of breath so I will have to come back to this later.

Game Info: This is just kinda general information on prototyping, sprites, alchemization, and other general game mechanics.

Another stick to add to our stick pile of fuckuppery is that we don't have any humans, ancestors, alternate timeline trolls, or exiles to help us along the way. Well I mean we could but I would prefer to keep things kinda linear if you don't mind. Exiles are okay if you wanna write em up but I personally am going to stay away from the sideplot stuff. So how exactly are we supposed to get information on Sgrub/Sburb without getting meta? Sprites. Yeah we actually have to use our sprites. If you have better ideas feel free to throw down a reply. If not prepare to get cryptic about information you already know. Or we could BS some stuff but whatev. Alot of the info on how the game works, like quest gates, god tiers, ect, will have to be distributed through sprites. Keep in mind this is just an idea. I am open to suggestions.

As far as alchemization goes I think you can just go nuts. Maybe drop your ideas in here first so that people can make sure it's not super overpowered for whatever point in the game we are at.

So we know that we have to breed the genesis frog if we want to win the game. Universe frog breeding is always tasked to the space player and the space player is always aided by the knight. I was thinking that Mazala should be the first person into the game meaning that she would have to do the ectobiology. I figured that the having her do the whole ectobiology thing would help her help the space player, sinc eya know breeding giant space frog is all about ectobiology.


Game Constants : Okay so SBURB there are always constants. There is always an even ammount of Derse/Prospit dreamers, there is always a jack noir, the Dersites always beat the Prospitians, there is always a first guardian, ect. So for this part I'm going to go into some detail about the game constants. This should help us build an idea of how the game will run and what not. 

Jack Noir: He may not be called Jack Noir in every session but every session has an archagent. As I said before there is a low chance he will be able to usurp the throne as there is a lack of secrecy and misdirection in the session because of my muse. We will most likely have to deal with him anyways, and if we screw up then his plan could end up succeeding. This is pretty much up to us to decide as things really could go either way. I'm leaning more towards fighting the king and queen rather than Jack but I think we should do a group consensus thing.

Derse/Prospit: This one isn't that important but I'm like 90% sure that we have the right ammount of dreamers per moon. Time and Void players are always Derse dreamers and Breath, Life, and Space dreamers are always Prospit. So whoever ends up being our sixth player will have to be a Derse dreamer. Oh and there is also one person who is "awake" before all the others. I think that it can be anyone so if anyone want's their character to be the one to help wake everyone up on their respective moons then you can go for it.

First Guardian: I don't really have any ideas for a first guardian. All I know is that I want him to have a giant checker piece for a head.

Denizens: I think this is where I'm going to leave this for now. I don't really know much about Denizens sooo....yeah. Thanks for reading.
