Lyla sat staring at her desktop screen, browsing websites to find stupid things people have done and laughing at their stupidity. She clicked out of vine, a website and app she says is cancer to human race due to the sheer amount of unintelligible memes that resonates within it, and opened up Twitter to once again find ridiculous posts that are probably posted by people with an iq of -100. Only to be interrupted with a notification saying that someone had started pestering her. She tried to ignoring the notification, only to be spammed with more, eventually she caved in and responded to the pester.

AG: As for the game, I have seen it and it seems quite stupid to me but since the rest of our friends wants to waste their precious time on it and there are stupider games out there, I might as well tag along for the ride.

Eukary finished brushing her hair and put it in a neat braid. Then, she put on her favorite white top with glitter on the short-sleeves. After that, she put on a ruffled light-pink skirt and a pair of white boots with light-pink bows on them.

Sky minimized her window. It was filled with codes Sky was still trying to figure out. Someone has been bothering her and her server. And she had an idea of who.

Xardanie shuffled in his seat in the couch. Beside him, his lusus, Wolf Mother sniffed at Xardanie as if to ask what was wrong. Xardanie hugged Wolf Mother's heavily furred neck and sighed. "Nothing's wrong, Wolf Mom. Sky's just spazzing out again."
The wolf lusus growled, narrowing her eyes.
"Now what did I tell you, young wolf pup? Don't socialize with the humans! They're just filth waiting to be mauled."
Xardanie sighed. "No, it's not like that, Wolf Mother. She's my morail. She should get off her husktop for once."
Wolf Mother nuzzled Xardanie. "Don't worry. She will soon."
Xardanie pulled away in shock. "W-What do you mean?"
"I can not explain, my pup. The answers will come in the near moons to come."

Dincre smiled at the screen as she saw the familiar "ceased trolling" text pop into the bottom of her chat. A little bit of her was a bit sad to see it, as always, but she assured herself it was nothing to worry about. She reread the conversation a couple of times, carefully scanning each line and mulling it over. Finally, more or less satisfied, she allowed herself to sit back and relax, assured that the conversation had, in fact, gone over well. She had been brushing up on her conversational skills lately and was seeing some improvement, or at least she thought. She was struck with the sudden urge to ask one of her friends what they thought on the matter, if they'd noticed anything, but quickly culled it. According to some of her early conversations, that was just a little bit on the insane side.

Her ears drooped a bit as she continued thinking, small, troubling thoughts creeping in. She wanted to see her friends in person one day so badly, but what if when she did she didn't know what to say? In real conversations you can't hide behind your screen until you think of a response. Or what if she could think of things to say and they were bad? What if she didn't know they were bad? She couldn't go back and reread them like she could with the text ones! A nervous little whimper escaped her lips, surprisingly answered by a loud chuff from behind her that sent a puff of air against her ankles, startled her out of her thoughts.


The troll wheeled around on her heels, coming face to face with her lusus's toothy muzzle. She chuckled, reaching out a hand to scratch under the beast's chin, eliciting a pleasant purr from the bohemith that was enough to vibrate the hive. This pleasantry only lasted a moment though before her custodian moved on from the gesture and nudged her in the chest with her nose, all four eyes oddly animalistically stern as she nodded at the troll's husktop. Dincre's next chuckle was a nervous one as she reached over to nonchalantly try and obscure the screen. She couldn't really do anything about it as she would never hurt Dincre or anything in her hive, but the guardian had never been very keen on the idea of her talking to other trolls online. The well-traveled lusus had seen enough flarping and general grub-on-grub violence in her day to not trust those little things anywhere near her pup.


Dincre closed out of the chat window and offered her custodian a bashful shrug in the uncomfortable silence, receiving only another chuff ruffling through her hair before the creature turned to depart again, off to go patrol the perimeter YET AGAIN, most likely. The little troll sighed, catching the long tail as it lazily swung past her and letting her fingers run through its fur as it slipped away after the rest of Momster's body. After only a few moments of solitude, she was back at her husktop once more, re-opening her chat window and checking if anyone was online. She saw the memo notification, likely added just to keep everyone organized, though she knew she likely had no business there, having just spoken privately to its creator. Even so, her hunger for chatter drove her to open it up, if only just to be a silent spectator of her friends' negotiations, who knew, she may learn something about talking from their examples.
