Papaya's (Resturaunt)

Alfara's words bring up Theo's idle worries about his own purpose. It's hard to know exactly how much of his memory is missing and how much time has passed, but he still doesn't seem to recall getting any signals or commands in a while. He wonders why his creators would stop checking in, if he expects a status update every fixed period. With as much time and money had been put into his construction, he wouldn't expect them to just give up on him, as he represents a significant investment.

He considers Chever's personality. He would be sure to take excellent care of any robotics that came his way, but he would be certain to care that much more for one he built himself. There's no question that Alfara is, as much as a robot can be, utterly pampered, almost spoiled. Theo wonders what this observation says about Chever versus his own creators. Things get even more complicated if you throw Papaya and Madrah into the mix. Which relationship would be the closest to "normal?" ... Theo decides not to run the social analysis right now and stops spacing out.

"Why wouldn't you know how to fight if your memories are derived from Chever's?"

"Why am I not surprised?" Theo doesn't bother lowering his voice, not that he was speaking loudly anyway. "If Chever agrees, I could perhaps show you a thing or two. I don't know if you were build to withstand any particular degree of sparring, though."

Rolling her eyes at the ensuing evnets Madrah turns on her stool and walks off, notedly never paying a bill as Papaya cleans up after her.




Papaya was silent as she took Madrah's dishes away to be cleaned, explaining her absence from the ensuing conversation. She was back now however and encircled the counter until she was on the same side of the resturaunt as the others, sitting down with her fellow automatons.

Papaya is silent for a moment before standing and returning to the back of the counter, idly cleaning an already clean counter as something to do.

Papaya smiled and nodded slightly.

Chever decides to rest up on the counter, his elbow in the top. The counter only came up to chevers chin anyway. He looked as though something was irritating him

looking a little more saddened than usual after theo's reply. He decided to fully stand up, hanging near theo to simply listen in on the conversation. it appears hes studying interactions

Theo looks a little surprised at the sudden audience, but continues anyway.

"Not any sound, but somewhat close. I imagine I was likely equipped only with what I needed to do my job at the start, nothing extraneous. I accumulated many add-ons in the course of my travels so I could put on bigger and more grandiose public shows; I can essentially create an impromptu rave at any time of the day or night at this point, including a large blackout tent for early morning shows. This, of course, allows me to gather more tips, music sales, etcetera, so I can afford to maintain everything."
