Future Diary: Redialed Dreams [Full]

Name: Aoi Kobayashi
Age: 17
Sprite/Appearance

Stands at about 5'7". Has long black messy hair that is very unkempt. Visible bags under her eyes and wears very tattered clothing. Green eyes, generally looking very exhausted.
Gender: Femme Nonbinary (she/her they/them)

Personality: A very distant and rather odd young lady. Always dozing off here and there, and always seeming rather out of it in a way. Although she is very polite and friendly to others, she never gets too close to people. It's hard to tell what she's actually feeling and generally she tends to scare people off due to her odd habits. This doesn't mean she's just cold and distant, she is very nice to others, it's just hard for her to reall open up with people close to her.

Aoi, having grown up in a rather poor household, is quite a kleptomaniac. She often steals from people and stores and doesn't quite understand the issues with it. After all, she's just borrowing persay, and the owner never uses it anyway right? A girl's gotta eat.

She has some rather morbid hobbies that tend to off put other people. Such as her fascination with bones and dead animals. Her room is just full of bones and fur pelts. She is also very fond of the outdoors and will often sit outside just collecting little rocks she finds neat or even relaxing a bit.

Aoi also has numerous scrapbooks filled with locks of hair, nails, and even paper with blood drops on them. She says this is so she always remember her friends. Sometimes there are old photos of people she once knew or just names. It's pretty fucking creepy to be real honest.

In general Aoi is a sweet and friendly, but is rather off putting with her strange habbits.

Bio: Aoi was raised a very poor family in a small little town in Japan. Her parents were very loving and were often out working. Leaving her and her younger sister home alone most of the time. She never had much so she learned to make do and ended up stealing a lot of little trinkets, valubles, money, and even food to survive.

When she turned 16 Aoi ended up getting engaged to the son of a wealthy family. Their families weren't too thrilled about the entire ordeal, after all they were so young! But they didn't mind, they were in love after all. Everything going perfect and they had a very healthy and loving relationship. Her fiancé ended up dying months after their engagement. Police declared it a homicide, although they never ended up finding the culprit. They suspected Aoi of being the killer at one point, but they didn't find any solid evidence that it was her.

Aoi didn't shed any tears at his funeral. Perhaps she didn't handle grief very well or maybe she had no more tears to cry. Either way she ended up moving on and went back to school and everything was normal again.

Extra: Has a small anole lizard named Tarmo whom she loves very much.

Name: Kyou Tanaka
Age: 16
Sprite/Appearance:

Gender: Male
Personality: Rude. Not in the sense of that he has justification with it, but more like he's just rude to be rude. Being the kinda guy that's self conscious about being seen by others, Kyou is a natural shut-in person. Socially Awkward in conversations cause I mean, if you were a shut-in i'd imagine you don't really know much of the social norms. Thus, responding with snarky remarks about how stupid that sounds and even enough to say how much better it'd be if he was dead. Muuuch better on chats on the Internet than face to face.
Bio: Kyou was the Neighborhood Weirdo. He went to school just like anyone else and excelled in his grades, showing he was not stupid. But, he still was consider the odd one out in the school with his familys background of being...just gone. No one really knows where his parents go, so they just assume business trips or something. Teachers try and send him to counseling, but he usually blows them off to just speed walk back home before someone notices him. Kids however have the rumor spreading around that he probably killed them, while others just say that they left cause they thought he was a demon. The rumors arent taken seriously to the point where they'll ask him, but it's better than nothing.

About the time he got into Highscool, he stopped going to School all together. Weeks passed and the School kept calling to see if he was OK. He eventually responded to say he had sent his papers showing his transfer to a Online School. Thus began his journey into eating takeout and talking on IRC chats to pass time rather than going outside. He gets letters from Doctors for him to come for therapy, but they just sit at the door waiting to be scrapped later. Due to not having anyone to copy notes down from anymore, he had to start writing a Diary. He kept his notes along with small monologues of his life being alone, such as poems and long talks about the Universe. His isolation gives him the time to question things and maybe even think about going outside more....

Name: Lou Xiao
Age: 18
Sprite/Appearance: A slouching, beat-up looking kid who wears jeans and artfully torn American t-shirts but is otherwise distinctively average-looking. Unstyled black hair, brown eyes, unusually wide and flat hands that never stop fiddling, tanned skin with a hint of acne. Bruised knuckles, scraped and cut in places. Wears a sugegasa on sunny days (which is practically every day in summer) and keeps it hanging around his neck because it's practically indestructible, even when he sleeps on it by accident.
Gender: Male
Personality: A bit... erratic. Sometimes he's absentminded and hard to engage in conversation, trailing off into awkward silence, and sometimes he's manic, clingy, obsessive and dependent. Occasionally he's neither, just broody and quiet. This is when you can get most sensible information out of him, though likely neither he or you will like it much.
Bio: Lou is the unwanted product of a union between his Chinese businessman father and his Japanese fashion designer mother, the latter whom dumped him off onto his grandmothers' soon after he was born. This would continue to be the sole unchanging trend in his life, weathering a divorce, the resulting settlement and halfhearted custody battle, two remarriages, and five high schools across three different countries. Somehow he found himself looking forward to finishing his senior year of high school education in some Miyazakiesque backwater town, dicking around on his laptop and genuinely having nothing to do. If this was a movie, he'd meet a girl and get sucked into an adventure, or have a dream that turns out to be a fantasy world, or rescue a talking cat from a car accident. Instead, he gets a email, finds a slim (waterproof!!) video camera dropped on his desk when he came home from school, and learns that he's apparently going to have to kill someone, or be killed himself, and it just might be someone he knows...
Extras: Attended school for most of his life in America. Speaks English fluently, Japanese haltingly, and almost no Chinese (except some conversational Mandarin). Takes antidepressants and over-the-counter anxiety meds. Singer-songwriter as a hobby. Plays the guitar (the player does not play the guitar irl so some terminology might be off)

Name: Osamu Kawashi
Age: 14

He is rather slim built, standing at only 4'7 inches tall

Gender: Masculine Non-binary (They/Them He/Him)

Personality:
Usually found either stuck in books or on a computer, Osamu has always taken study and knowledge over socialization. He Has quit a passion for computer programming and technologies, often trying to pry into any computer he sees. Thanks to his high expectations and top grades and being a subject to bullying, Osamu will often come across as egotistical and bitter, even somewhat rude at times, making it hard for him to keep friends around long enough as it is. Despite his best to appear calm in difficult situations, he will loose his temper quit often. But his hot hotheadedness could be from the constant demand to make his family name proud.
He has quite the secret weakness for Shōujo Manga. Perhaps he has a bit of a soft side he likes to hide.

Bio:
Being the only child in a somewhat wealthy and proud family, Osamu is always heavily expected to over achieve. He lives with just his father and grandmother after his own mother died only just a few years ago. Despite his father being Japanese born, His mother had originated from England, givng him a somewhat half European appearance. He is able to speak English quite good from what his mother had been able to teach him before her death. Thanks to his small and nerdish appearance, he has often been the victim of bullies and torment. Always being called weak and pathetic had left him bitter towards any sort of socialization. He soon decided to begin keeping a diary, writing own his wildest dreams and fantasies about one day rising above all those who tormented him. and occasionally uses it for math and scribbles too.

Extras:
His glasses have been broke that many times fom torment, he stopped bothering to replace them. He is often found muttering either to himself or to computers.

Name: Iris Godfrey

Age: 17

Sprite/Appearance: fairly thin and standing at 5'6". she has light blonde hair and dark brown eyes. 
she wears whatever's comfortable and has no sprite as of yet, but there is a faceclaimmm (in the sheet)

Gender: f

Personality: rad af. has a slight god complex and seems to love herself way too much. definitely narcissistic. estp, and surprisingly quiet for how extroverted she is.

Bio: iris was born in south wales, and was fairly poor during her childhood. she lived alone with her father and when she was 15 years old, they moved to london. starting her first year of college, she had no friends, but soon became fairly popular. she moved from group to group, stirring up drama completely out of boredom, and somehow managed to become insanely narcissistic. she started getting into urban exploration and free-running, usually in places she wasn't supposed to be, and committing petty theft. she got it into her head that she could get away with anything she wanted to, which was relatively true. she seemed to have an amazing knack for talking her way out of trouble. eventually, her father forced/talked her into therapy, as he was concerned. her therapist started having her keep a diary of everything that happened to her, as it would make her begin to evaluate her actions and thoughts. she stopped messing with other people's head eventually, and soon after, stopped going to college altogether. she became slightly depressed, and started making music instead, to pass the time. Her isolation bored her and gave her time to think about things. maybe even go traveling for a while...

after the summer, iris decided to go to Japan, where she'd planned to meet up with a friend of hers who she'd met in an IRC chatroom during her self-imposed house-arrest. she hopes that it'll be more exciting, as she steps off the plane and onto new soil. (not the best storytelling. also there's some repetition but w/e. i'll go more into detail on a doc or smth probably???)

Extras: likes EDM, and making her own music. aspires to be god.

Name: 유미 Shizuka
Age: 13
Sprite/Appearance: Short, mussy black hair with a white cat-eared headband. Light blue glasses (#72c2cc). Wears a hoodie with those fluffy pompom ball things on the ends and a skirt. Very petite.
Gender: Female
Personality: 유미 is possibly the most relentlessly optimistic person you'll ever meet. She's always full of cheer and unbridled enthusiasm, and is always open to new sources of excitement. She'll never turn her back on a friend, and her definition of friend is a little fast and loose. If you've met her once you'll probably be hearing from her again. Her sense of morality is very strict, however - you're either good or bad and there's only room in her circle for those of the former temperament. 유미 is idealistic to the point of naivete and usually goes along with any sort of authority figure in the absence of personal motivations. She's also superstitious.
Bio: Throughout her life, 유미 has been suffering from a chronic heart condition. She was born to a Japanese father and a Korean mother who died in childbirth, and has been in and out of hospitals and home ever since. Her father, a wealthy businessman, tried his very best to keep his daughter safe and healthy at their countryside retreat, as he couldn't really leave her for any extended period of time without the risk of an untimely death. As a result, 유미 took to literature and, more recently, animated entertainment to pass the countless days of ennui. She took an interest in mythology, magic, and shows of the like readily, and began keeping a diary about her various musings and longwinded, if not entirely sensible, flights of fancy. A short while after her eleventh birthday, she underwent a major surgery which was purportedly successful in that the doctors and her father didn't really have anything left to do other than hope for the best afterwards. She was finally checked out for (hopefully) the last time on her twelfth birthday with a stern warning to not do anything strenuous for a year at least. Since then she's been working to get back in shape, and her father has reluctantly agreed to leave her in the care of a few hired nurses/caretakers/whatever for the summer while he embarks on an important business trip. Needless to say she doesn't plan on staying cooped up in their Arcadian villa for much longer.
