I'm not really sure if this constitutes a "craft" per se, but none of the other categories really fit.
If anyone here is familiar with the Elder Scrolls series, you might know about the Dremora, one of the races in the universe of the games. The troll alphabet is actually theirs flipped upside down, which I find especially hilarious because they're basically trolls.
I'm serious. They look like grey-skinned humanoids with shaggy black hair and horns, and in Oblivion (but not Skyrim...well, until now) they have yellow eyes, plus they're a caste-based warrior society. I'm not making this up. As I've described it once, they're basically way too similar to trolls for it to be a coincidence, if not for the fact that Andrew claimed it was.
So of course, I had to retexture them into trolls. You can find the mod here (and pardon the pictures; I was using a program to make the graphics look better and the focus was being a dick.)
You'll need the PC version Skyrim for it to work, of course. Currently all it does is retexture the Dremora's eyes, horns, and skin colour, but it should work with any Dremora-related mod that doesn't edit the textures (so if you get a mod to let you play as a Dremora, it'll still work.)
I'd like to add face fins to the Dremora Lords or make a full standalone troll race, but that would require new models that I'm incapable of making. I've also considered an Alternia partial conversion, seeing as the plot of Skyrim would work fairly well in the ancestor era given the civil war and all, but again, that's a bit of an ambitious project. So you can just have fun with this mod that only affects one of the rarest enemy classes in the entire game.
Yes. I am a total dork.
